Definitions
“Service” means all tools, features and functionality provided at WordToHTML.net, including file conversion, HTML editing, storage and user accounts.
“User” means any individual or entity using the Service, with or without an account.
“Account” means a registered profile created by a User.
“Content” means any files, documents, images or data uploaded, generated or stored through the Service.
“Subscription” means any paid plan purchased on the site. -
Acceptance of Terms
By using the Service, creating an Account or purchasing a Subscription, the User agrees to these Terms & Conditions. If the User does not agree, they must stop using the Service.

Description of the Service
WordToHTML.net provides tools for converting documents (including Word and PDF) to HTML, visual editing tools, email or signature design tools, storage of signatures and documents, and related features. The Service may change or expand over time.

User Responsibilities & Acceptable Use
The User agrees not to:
- Upload illegal, harmful, copyrighted or infringing materials.
- Upload sensitive data unless they understand the risk of storing such data online.
- Upload adult, abusive or malicious content.
- Attempt to hack, disrupt, overload or interfere with the Service.
- Use automated tools to abuse the platform.
The User is responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their Account credentials.

Subscriptions, Payments & Refunds
Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled.
Prices and features are shown on the pricing page.
A 14-day money-back guarantee is available for first-time purchases only.
Refunds for renewals are not guaranteed and may be granted only at the discretion of WordToHTML.net.
Users may cancel at any time from their Account dashboard; access remains until the end of the billing period. -
Data Deletion Policy
Pro Accounts: After a Pro Subscription expires or is cancelled, stored media files and saved documents remain available for six months. After that, they are permanently deleted.
Trial Accounts: Media files and saved documents for Trial accounts are retained for one month from account creation and then permanently deleted.
User Responsibility: Users are responsible for exporting any documents, HTML files or images they wish to keep. WordToHTML.net is not liable for deleted files when removed under this policy.

Data Processing & Storage
Pasted Text: When text is pasted into the visual editor or code editor, all conversion occurs locally in the user’s browser. Nothing is sent to our servers unless the user explicitly saves a file.
Uploaded Documents:
- Uploaded files are processed securely on our server via SSL.
- Temporary conversion output is deleted immediately after processing once results are returned to the browser.
- If a user chooses to save HTML output or images, these files remain stored until manually deleted or until the Subscription expires. After expiration of a Pro plan, files are auto-deleted after six months.
File Storage: Users with saving capabilities may store files and templates and may delete them at any time.
Security Recommendation: For highly sensitive or confidential data, users should use Document Converter Pro (our Windows desktop software), where all processing is offline.

Account Termination
WordToHTML.net may suspend or terminate an Account if the User:
- Violates these Terms,
- Uploads prohibited content,
- Abuses the Service,
- Attempts to bypass limits or security measures.
On termination:
- Access to the Account is removed immediately,
- Stored Content may be deleted after 30 days,
- No refunds are provided unless legally required.

Intellectual Property
All code, text, design and branding of WordToHTML.net are the property of the website owner.
The User retains ownership of all Content they upload.
The User grants WordToHTML.net a limited license to store, process and convert uploaded Content solely for operating the Service. -
Privacy & Data Protection
WordToHTML.net processes personal data as described in the Privacy Policy.
The Service follows GDPR requirements where applicable.
Users have the right to access, correct or delete their data.Some features rely on third-party providers (e.g. payment processors, cloud storage). Their own terms apply.

Security & Data Storage
The Service uses commercially reasonable methods to protect data, but no online system can guarantee absolute security.
Users who require full data control should use the offline / self-hosted options when available. -
Availability & Changes to the Service
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available.”
There is no guarantee of uninterrupted uptime, error-free operation or preservation of Content.
WordToHTML.net may update, modify or discontinue any part of the Service at any time. -
Warranty Disclaimer
WordToHTML.net does not provide any warranty regarding:
- Accuracy or quality of conversions,
- Fitness for a particular purpose,
- Error-free performance,
- Compatibility with specific systems.

Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, WordToHTML.net is not liable for:
- Loss of data,
- Business interruption,
- Loss of profits or revenue,
- Indirect, consequential or incidental damages.
The maximum liability for any claim is limited to the amount paid by the User in the 12 months before the claim.

Governing Law & Jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of Northern Ireland.
Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of Belfast / Northern Ireland, unless local laws require otherwise. -
Modifications to Terms
WordToHTML.net may update these Terms. Users will be notified through the website or by email.
Continued use of the Service after changes means acceptance of the new Terms. -
